Rafting the Zambezi River

Rafting the Zambezi is an amazing experience. Depending on the water levels there are different options. The trip includes all equipment, lunch, water, transfers and for the full day includes a light dinner. What to bring, change of clothes, sunscreen and a sense of adventure. We recommend wearing clothes that can get wet, sport sandals and a minimum level of fitness is required.

High water rafting 
Is a half day adventure and you raft rapids 11 to 25. Usually high water is December/January to June/July. Enquire about current levels.

Low water rafting 
You can choose between a full day or a half day in the morning or in the afternoon. We highly recommend the full day! On the full day you raft rapids 1 to 25 and get a cable car out of the gorge. Half day in the morning you raft rapid 1 to 10. Half day in the afternoon you raft rapids 11 to 25.

Usually low water rafting is from July/August to December/January. Please do not hesitate to contact us, to enquire about the current water levels.

Minimum age: 15 years

Bungee

For the true adrenaline junkies an upside down view of the Victoria Falls might be for you. Book a time slot at the Jollyboys reception in advance.
Minimum age: 14 years and over 40 kg

Big Air Package

An amazing combination of the zip line, the bungee jump and the bridge swing. One go, on each thrilling activity for a super discounted price.

Canoeing

You start your day 20 km up river and meander with the flow of the Zambezi. The canoes seat 2 people comfortably. Common animal sightings include hippos, crocs, giraffes, zebra and a variety of birds. Multi day trips can be organised for groups of 3 or more including camping on an island in the river.
The trip includes all equipment, water, dry bags for cameras and lunch. We recommend wearing clothes that can get wet and sport sandals. Minimum level of fitness required and don’t forget to bring your sunscreen.
Minimum age: 12 years

Breakfast and Lunch Cruise

Enjoy a serene time on the upper Zambezi when fewer boats generally out and about. The morning trip includes drinks as well as breakfast and the midday trip includes lunch. Common animal sightings include croc’s, hippo’s, a wide variety of birdlife and sometimes elephants. You’ll spend around 2 hours on the river.
Minimum age: 10 years, accompanied by an adult.

Sunset/Booze Cruise

Amazing value for money! Unlimited spirits, beer, wine & soft drinks. Snacks and a braai (BBQ) provided while you’re on the boat. You have the opportunity to see some game and you get to watch one of the most magnificent sunsets you’ll see in Africa. You’ll spend around 2 hours on the river.
No minimum age, but children must be accompied by an adult

Lady Livingstone Cruise

The newest luxury boat on the Zambezi and by far the best service! This 3 story boat includes freshly made snacks, homemade chocolates and a fully stocked bar. The best trip for those wanting a lovely chilled out river cruise!

Victoria River Cruise

This is a smaller, quicker boat, which can get closer to the animals that drink from the Zambezi River. An excellent choice for those who want a river experience with only a few people on board. Snacks and limited drinks are provided, or you can have a much longer river experience by combining the river cruise ending on the African Queen for an amazing Zambian sunset cruise.
No minimum age, but must be accompanied by adults.

Helicopter Flight

The helicopter flight shows you one of the most stunning views of Victoria Falls and the formation of the Batoka Gorge.
The 12 – 15 minutes flight goes over the falls themselves. The 30 minutes flight goes over the falls and includes a short flight through the gorge and a short game flight over Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. We recommend the first or last flight of the day, because that’s usually when the animals come out.
No minimum age, but must be accompanied by an adult.

Game Drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park

The game drive takes place in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, which is the local park here in Livingstone. It has beautiful scenery and its located right next to the Zambezi river. The park is the smallest National Park in Zambia and has a wide variety of game, including white rhinos. There are no predators except for crocs. Special highlight; it has a grave sight of the first settlers of Livingstone.
Minimum age: 3 years and above. Children must be accompanied by adults.
