The Historical Bridge Tour
This tour includes aspects of theatre, history and adventure. They will take you back in time and learn about the men who built this masterpiece. Experience what it must feel like to work on the construction of the historic Victoria Falls Bridge. You even get to walk UNDER the bridge.
Minimum age: 6 years
Canoeing
You start your day 20 km up river and meander with the flow of the Zambezi. The canoes seat 2 people comfortably. Common animal sightings include hippos, crocs, giraffes, zebra and a variety of birds. Multi day trips can be organised for groups of 3 or more including camping on an island in the river.
The trip includes all equipment, water, dry bags for cameras and lunch. We recommend wearing clothes that can get wet and sport sandals. Minimum level of fitness required and don’t forget to bring your sunscreen.

Fishing on the Upper Zambezi River
You will spend the day on the upper Zambezi river, pitting your skills against Tiger fish and other species. There is amazing bird and wildlife around to enjoy at the same time. This activity is available as a half or full day.
This trip Includes transfers, refreshments, fishing tackle, rods, lures and bait. The full day includes lunch.
Minimum age: 12 years accompanied by an adult.
Royal Livingstone Express
The trip on this historical steam train takes you to the bridge between Zimbabwe and Zambia, in time for sunset. Once all a board delicious canapés and drinks are served before enjoying a delicious 5 course dinner.
No minimum age, but children must be accompanied by an adult
Elephant Café
Choose either arrive via speedboat and enjoy a scenic ride past hippos and crocs or choose to take the less expensive road transfer option. Upon arrival you’ll be greeted by the elephants for an interaction. You can touch them and pose for photos with them. After which you’ll enjoy a delicious bush cuisine meal with a spectacular view of the Zambezi river. The food is African fusion with a fine dining menu which changes seasonally and focuses on traditional bush ingredients. They offer only unprocessed preservative-free food that is locally produced in Zambia. Drinks are payable by cash or credit card and they offer a wine list which pairs with the menu.
The lunch and dinner are 3 course set menus and include coffee and tea. Advance notice mandatory.
Minimum age is 10 years and accompanied by an adult.
Horse Riding
Take a leisurely ride along the river or push over rough terrain out along the gorges. Enjoy a two hour trip or a half day with lunch included. Beginner or experienced riders they can be catered.
Minimum age is 6 years old.
Quad Biking
There are various trails to see the local area and no experience is necessary. The village trail covers approximately 40 acres through the African bush and you may encounter some game along the way.
Minimum age: 12 years
Breakfast and Lunch Cruise
Enjoy a serene time on the upper Zambezi when fewer boats generally out and about. The morning trip includes drinks as well as breakfast and the midday trip includes lunch. Common animal sightings include croc’s, hippo’s, a wide variety of birdlife and sometimes elephants. You’ll spend around 2 hours on the river.
Minimum age: 10 years, accompanied by an adult.
Sunset/Booze Cruise
Amazing value for money! Unlimited spirits, beer, wine & soft drinks. Snacks and a braai (BBQ) provided while you’re on the boat. You have the opportunity to see some game and you get to watch one of the most magnificent sunsets you’ll see in Africa. You’ll spend around 2 hours on the river.

The newest luxury boat on the Zambezi and by far the best service! This 3 story boat includes freshly made snacks, homemade chocolates and a fully stocked bar. The best trip for those wanting a lovely chilled out river cruise!

The original luxury cruise with waiter service, delicious snacks & 2 levels of amazing views. A very nice and relaxing cruise.

Victoria River Cruise
This is a smaller, quicker boat, which can get closer to the animals that drink from the Zambezi River. An excellent choice for those who want a river experience with only a few people on board. Snacks and limited drinks are provided, or you can have a much longer river experience by combining the river cruise ending on the African Queen for an amazing Zambian sunset cruise.
No minimum age, but must be accompanied by adults.
Zambezi Upper River Float
A lovely chilled way to see the beautiful Zambezi river. You’ll be in rafts and can either assist with the paddling, or lay back and sunbathe as you pass by crocs, hippos and hopefully see lots of wildlife and many birds. A few beers and soft drinks are provided.
Minimum age: 12 years
Spa at Jollyboys Backpackers
This lovely small spa is based at Jollyboys Backpackers and offers different types of massages, manicures and pedicures. They specialize in the typical Zambian Ukichina massage, which is perfect after an exciting day of adventurous activities.
