African Culture & Cooking tour
Explore the local markets, (craft, furniture, food and township markets) and try your hand at some local Zambian cooking before having a great local lunch. This trip also includes basic local language lessons and a historical tour of town. Within 4 hours you’ll be emerged in the Zambian culture.
If you want to get away from the curio markets and experience a local Zambian market, this is a good place to go. You can find almost everything there. The market is about 4 km from town.
The museum is just a stones throw away from Jollyboys. Recently renovated, the museum holds a collection of archaeology, ethnography, art and national history. There is a section dedicated to David Livingstone.
Walk around Livingstone town with one of our staff members as your guide. He will show you around, take you to the oldest building still standing and through some o the back streets. You will get a great feeling for the town.
Cliff the ‘Local Cowboy’ was a Livingstone legend. He started a pre-school with the profits from his bike tours and the legacy continues. Let the guides show you around and wow you with their knowledge of Livingstone. Tell the guides what you want to see or where you want to go and they will ensure that you have a great few hours.
A fantastic opportunity to get involved in the day-to-day village life. The Simonga community has pulled together to create their own small tourism initiative, supported by Jollyboys among other agents and operators in town. As soon as you arrive at the village you will be welcomed into the community and embraced into Zambian village life. The 2 hour trip shows you around the village. The half day includes a home cooked Zambian lunch. A walk to the river is possible upon request.
Grab a drum, make some noise and have a blast! Chop and his crew put on an awesome interactive concert here at Jollyboys in the evening, which will have you drumming away like a proper percussion band by the end of the night. Lots of fun at a great price.

Wire art Get creative with a piece of copper wire and make your own jewellery. Beading Make your own pair of earrings, bracelets or a key holder form colourful beads.t for Lubasi Orphanage and a play a game of football or read to the kids. Try your skills against some amazing kids on the field or grab a book and read to the little ones. Alternatively, join the girls for some skipping or some board games on a rainy day.
